Gimme! - Monsoon Fusion Collection

I am loving the new Monsoon Fusion collection. I am under no delusion that any of it will fit me or look fab on me but it looks so hot!

The Cosmic dress would be so perfect for a party I'm going to in a couple of weeks. I'm going to cross everything in hope that they get some more in time.

I know I'm not the quickest off the mark and this post only goes to affirm that but I really wanted to talk about the gorgeous Liberty by Target range.

It's a beautiful collection of Liberty prints brought to life through Target's savvy use of producing value-for-money items that will have any woman fighting like a pack of Bridget Joneses in a room with the last man on earth.

I have bought so many items I could open up my own mini shop. One such item is this fab scarf/sarong/table cloth(!). I love them so much I bought all three, although in my defence one is a birthday gift for my best friend (it's ok, she won't read this).

I wore the stunning purple/pink one to my neices' birthday party where it was promptly stolen by my sister! I eventually managed to prise it out of her fingers and she has since instructed her husband to buy her one. She wasn't the only one, as soon as her friends left the party they rushed home and got straight on to Ebay to buy their own! Hey, Liberty, the women of Chester miss their store!

Their girls clothes are gorgeous too so I couldn't resist buying a couple for my neiceses, a super cute playsuit with a flower corsage and a striking purple dress with matching pants.

I'm hoping that my sister will get the hints I've been dropping and buy the sweet smelling Lotus and White Flower candle for my birthday.

Right, I'm starting this blog again.

My reason for starting a blog was to figure what the hell it is that I love and what inspires me. I'm no closer to finding that out so this blog is going to be all kinds of verbal diarohea about whatever it is that's making me tick at the time.

I was on the phone to my brother earlier when his wife rang on the other line to say that she was about to have their second child. A short but sweet conversation with my bro but now waiting for the new arrival. That's it. Still waiting...

... and waiting...

...and waiting.

Getting updates via facebook from my brother. Love that you can take an iphone anywhere. Lets just hope he doesn't do a live feed!

Popping my blogging cherry

I've previously had no desire to write a blog. Today this changed. Previously, when thinking about blogs I always thought I would have no idea what to write about, everyone seems to have their own specific interest or niche. I don't seem to have anything that I'm hugely passionate about so I always figured, what's the point?

I still don't have anything specific to blog about but I'm going to give it a good go and see if there is any one thing that stands out for me. I suppose I'm hoping to inspire myself into a passion. Although if there isn't one thing that I'm passionate about then that can be ok too. It shouldn't be a problem to just like lots of things, should it?

Enough of this now, it's almost 2am and I'm still not asleep (obviously). This is becoming less of a rare occurance which is very irritating. I'm normally a very good sleeper, in fact that was something I'm passionate about! I love sleeping but for some reason, recently I haven't been so good at it. There's a lot going on in my life right now which I'm sure could explain it away and I'm sure you'll be hearing about in due course. For now I'm going to try to get some sleep.
